Research Associate - SARS-CoV2, Rosenberg Lab
The Rosenberg Lab at UCSF studies how microbial pathogens cause disease in humans. We use a combination of structural biology and microbial genetics to investigate the molecular underpinnings of the host-pathogen interface. Our goal is to uncover novel vulnerabilities that will enable faster, cheaper and less toxic treatment of infections.
We are currently seeking a Research Associate to join a motivated, and highly collaborative team to work on project related to the novel coronavirus, SARS-CoV2. The ideal candidate will have specific training in cell culture techniques and an ability to follow complex protocols with expensive reagents. Knowledge of molecular genetics (including genomic editing) and structural biology are a plus but are not required.
